Charles P Coleman

Born February 1,1939 in Somerville, MA, he was the son of Dennis and Mary Coleman. He was known by the nickname of "Sonny".

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Susan and Mark Warren of Medfield, MA, grandsons Christopher Warren of NY, Timothy Warren of Cambridge. Daughter Maureen and Rocco Puopolo of Millis, MA, grandsons Evan Puopolo & Fiance Michelle, Claire and Dan of Hulbert of FL, Dennis Puopolo of Millis, MA. Son Charles Coleman Jr & Fiance Janet of Salisbury, NH, grandsons Steven Coleman of Billerica and Matthew Coleman of NH. He is predeceased by his loving middle daughter Cathy Colon who died in November 1992.

Charlie received his Associates Degree from Northeastern University. Charlie and Claire Coleman raised their four children in Reading, MA. Charlie loved to go out fishing on his boat and enjoyed taking his grandkids out and showing them all the landmarks. He was a longtime member of the Monument Beach Sportmans Club in Bourne, MA. He was the treasurer and loved to spend time there talking to all the members and attending all the Holiday functions.

Charlie had such a great sense of humor and loved to tell tall tales and long stories. He worked for Verizon for over 30 years and was so proud to be a Manager. He will be missed by his family and neighbors. Charlie loved to go to the local VFW.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18 at 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd., Pocasset, MA at 10:00 AM.
