Catherine Marie Scully

She was born to the late Joseph and Lillian Scully on December 11, 1941 in Boston, MA. She attended school in Dedham and Wareham. She lived her early life in Dedham and moved to Wareham in 1952. Later moving to Buzzards Bay for many years and then to Yarmouth Port.

Cathy worked for many years at her family’s gift shop on Cranberry Highway. She liked visiting with the customers and helping them pick out the perfect gifts.

Cathy was a member of the Buzzards Bay Eagles for many years and loved visiting the owners of the shops on Main Street in Buzzards Bay. Always willing to help out when needed.

Cathy enjoyed being with family and friends and love a good celebration and holidays.

Cathy is survived by her brother David of Colorado, nieces Robin Perry of Falmouth and Stacy Chismer of Wareham, nephews Billy Scully of Fall River and Robbie Chismer of Brockton. She’s is also survived by other nieces and nephews and special cousins Bobbie and Ronnie Eldridge. She is preceded in passing by her brother Lawrence Scully and sister Patricia Chismer.

Visitation will be from 10:30-12pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA, and burial will follow at Oakland Grove Cemetery on Shore Rd. in Bourne.
