Wallace R. Cleaveland Jr.

Wallace was born June 5, 1944 in Tampa, Florida to Wallace R. and Alice Ann Cleaveland (nee Bedell).

During his life, Wallace also lived in Santa Fe, Silver City, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In life, Wallace achieved a Bachelor Science Degree in Music Education from Western New Mexico University. He was a Public School Band Director for over 12 years. Wallace was also a Real Estate Appraiser for 27 years. He was a member for Rotary International, Barbershop Choruses, and Church Music Groups.

Wallace also served in the military with the Army National Guard.

His special interest was Jeep four-wheeling. He loved family, friends, music, and his jeep.

On July 3, 1971, Wallace married Pat Johnston in Pinecliffe, Colorado. They had celebrated 50 years of marriage prior to his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; children Stephanie (Armin Croft) Elsaesser and Stacey (Stephen) Snowden; grandchildren Caven, Caiden, and Tate Elsaesser and Sydney and Samantha Snowden; niece Allison Vidrine.

Wallace was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Tracey.

A memorial service for Wallace will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 4215 Grinnell Ave, Boulder, CO 80305. Rev. Dr. Charles Alkula will officiate.
