Virginia is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Linda Pursell and Heidi Phillips, son, Shane Phillips, brother-in-law, Don Durbin, and two cousins, Peggy Durbin and Rusty Durbin. She is preceded in death by her husband Emerson Phillips and her sister Shirley Durbin.
Virginia was born to Harry and Theresa Stahlmann in St. Claire, MO. She married Emerson Phillips on October 30, 1954 in Washington, MO. A resident of Boulder, CO, Virginia was an artist, a homemaker, and a member of the National and State Mushroom Clubs, Boulder Art Association, and American Legion. She enjoyed her family, art, the outdoors, and reading.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, 1421 Spruce St., in Boulder.
