Theresa Ann Pazier, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on January 3rd, 2022. She was the youngest of five children born to Joseph J. Roberts and Theresa A. Kiesel on June 27th, 1945 in Poughkeepsie, New York. She left this earth at the young age of 76.
Terry was the mother of three children: Kelly, Kimberly (died at birth) and Joseph. Her life began in New York but eventually life took Terry to Colorado where she met and lived with her longtime partner and best friend, Linda Gerard where they raised a total of 7 children together in a three bedroom home in Thornton, Colorado. They worked hard to give their kids the best they could by providing them with the tools and foundation required for life, including manners, family togetherness, and discipline.
Terry lived in many parts of the United States including New York, Colorado, Minnesota and Florida. Upon Linda’s passing, Terry was blessed to live with her daughter and son-in-law Ken for the last 8 years in Brighton. She never got the opportunity to live in the new home Kelly bought for the two of them in Evans, Colorado.
She spent the first few years raising her children before entering the retail management industry eventually progressing to working in the restaurant and grocery business for over 35 years. Terry worked in Colorado until 1988 before moving to the warmth of southern Florida where she lived for 15 years. During her time in Florida, she loved the sun, warm weather and walks on the beaches. She returned to Colorado in October of 2001 to be closer to her family.
Terry was a person of faith and raised a Catholic. As a youth, she attended an all-girls catholic school in Poughkeepsie. She enjoyed attending mass, celebrating the holidays or any occasion as long as she could host a party.
Many things brought joy to Terry including gatherings of friends and family, all holidays, animals, cooking, baking, gardening and fishing. Family and pets were always a big part of her life. Terry was the first one ready to celebrate birthdays and holidays planning well in advance. Over the years, Terry had many pets who she treated like her babies and spoiled them rotten. We always had a zoo living in the house with all the children.
Terry will be truly missed by her family and friends.
