February 9, 1987 - September 23, 2024
Savannah Elizabeth Ortega, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 23, 2024 at her home in Longmont, CO. She was born in Boulder, CO on February 9, 1987.
Savannah was loved by all who knew her, her smile would light up a room and her laugh was infectious. Anyone who knew her would say even though she was a strong, independent and sometimes stubborn woman, she would always be there no matter the need, a great listener, a shoulder to cry on, a good laugh, or a dancing partner, you could always count on her. She was driven to the extreme and even while being a devoted mother she was determined to succeed at anything she put her mind to, receiving her Paralegal Degree from IMBC as well as being recognized with a “Student of the Year” Award. Although she might not have known all the rules of the sports she followed, she was a hardcore sports fan, and loved watching with her boyfriend Gustavo, especially the Denver Broncos.
She loved her children, family, and friends dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ester, and her great grandparents Ama and Apa. She is survived by her mother Guadalupe, her children; Elias (19), Ariana (15), Azariah (9), and Cecilia (2), her brothers Little (Joe), Jorge, Rafael, her sisters Tammy, Samantha, Liliana, a huge loving family, and more friends than we can count.
Savannah always put her children, family, and friends before herself, she was a beautiful woman both inside and out, and we all knew she was the best at pulling together the most spectacular outfits. She touched the lives of so many people who will continue to admire and look up to her, she will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder,CO 80301. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder, CO.
The family requests that in lieu of wearing black, those attending dress in her favorite colors, purple, white, and blue in true honor of Savannah.
