Mary Teresa Metzger of Boulder passed away June 3, 2015. Mary was born October 28, 1956, in Baltimore, MD to Clarence and Marie Hinke. She grew up in Baltimore with her eight brothers and sisters and attended college at Mt. St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, MD. She earned her MBA from the University of Baltimore. She married David Metzger on March 1, 1988, in Zermatt, Switzerland. They have four daughters, Elle, Carrie, Abby and Ruthie.
Mary and David moved to Boulder in 1996, where she worked as a CPA in various industries. Mary enjoyed the Colorado lifestyle, going on walks and hikes with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jimmy. She is survived by her husband, David, four daughters, her mother, Marie, 3 sisters, Mimi, Patti and Anne, and four brothers, Joe, Jack, Michael and Eddie, all of Baltimore.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm, Sunday, June 7th at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder, CO 80301. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Monday, June 8th at Sacred Heart of Jesus, 1318 Mapleton Ave., Boulder. To send condolences please visit www.cristmortuary.com.
