Lynn Hogan passed away at home on Thursday September 24. She was born to Robert and Grace Bauske in Woodstock, Illinois. Her family moved to Spencer, Iowa, followed by a move to Ames, Iowa where she graduated from Ames High School and attended Iowa State University. Lynn was married to Kenneth R. Hogan on June 24, 1978 and moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1984.
Lynn worked for the Chemical Engineering department at Iowa State University, but spent most of her career as a Professional Research Assistant for JILA at The University of Colorado. Lynn dearly loved her family, her Golden Retrievers and her many friends. She was an avid reader, Broncos fan, Rockies fan and was enjoying the freedom that recent retirement provided. Lynn was a beloved wife, mother and sister. She is deeply missed.
Lynn is survived by the loves of her life, husband Ken; son Jake and his wife Keri of Denver; brothers David (Carol) Bauske of Austin, TX, Mark (Nancy) Bauske of Oklahoma City, OK, Clay (Lenore) Bauske of Weston, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service is planned.
