Erin, I just learned of your Mom's death today.  I'm so sorry, I loved your Mom, she was such a good person.  I have fond memories of the time she lived with my family after your grandmother moved to Las Vegas.  I was a flower girl at her and Jim's wedding.
My condolences to you, your family and please send my condolences to Michael as well.  It is difficult to lose a parent.  My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Linda's passing.  She was one of my favorite people. God bless Linda's family and all of us who will miss her dearly. Prayers sent your way.

The last few months were difficult for you and the memories you shared (especially Alaska trip) and journeys you've taken will be in your hearts. Linda LIVED life! We should all be lucky to make decisions to LIVE life like she did (motorcycling and getting decked out in her leather!) As a nurse she helped people, as her daughter Erin, you have inspired so many people,a trait you received from your mom. We don't know how we grow up, we do know, when you are taught the core values and giving what is important in life from a mom (and dad), it is priceless! You are an extension of those values and "Living Life" with Chris. We love you and thinking of you during this transition.

I know how hard it is to lose your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We have been inspired by the loving care you gave Linda throughout the last months, Chris and Erin.  We wish courage and strength for you in the days ahead.

Erin, you know how I feel about you, you are a wonderful positive person.  I love being your neighbor, and love your encouragement with biking/spinning. James, Erin & Mike, I wish I had gotten to know Linda better. She came accross as my kind of person. I truly enjoyed the many pictures she posted. especially the ones of Murphy her beloved companion. Oue friendship was short lived but treasured. Until we meet again, Linda!

I write in the name of the Music Ministry of Immaculate Conception Church in Wilmington, NC.  Linda (as well as Jim) were part of the Music Ministry here as parishioners. We give thanks for having Linda be among us sharing and leading the music at our parish liturgies, and for the friendships that were shared here.  We certainly hope that her years in CO were wonderful years.  Our Music Ministry family will keep Linda and all of you in our prayers. She will be prayed for by name at each liturgy this upcoming weekend, during the Intercessions.  God bless her, and each of you.

Erin and Chris, your Mom loved you and the grand kids so! It was always a kick to be with her. She kept me posting pix of all those puppies when I thought I did not have time this summer....I did it for her, because she was too ill to come and see them. She helped me babysit the last litter 2 yrs ago, too, and my infant grandson! She will be truly missed, but remembered. Susan Hood

Linda was so grounded in reality.  She was a no frills, dance to her own drummer gal who inspired me time and time again.  She was a good friend, a great listener and never hesitated to share her own experience, strength and hope in service to others.

Erin and Mike,  I am devastated at the news,  Linda and I shared many laughs and glasses of wine and also some good and not so good golf.  My deepest sympathy.  Marilyn Palmieri in Wilmington.

No words are good enough when is our mother who passes away. So in this moment just be sure of our friendship and love at this time of sorrow.

Linda  had such an enthusiasm for life. I loved seeing her at all the Ratay parties.  I also loved the sunrises she posted on face book and the pictures of her little dog.
