Joel was family to us. His sense of humor, his loyalty, his steadfast character, and his friendship will be missed. I feel so lucky to have known him.

Joel Davis was active in Boulder over many years.  He made it a better place.  He added to the lives of those many with whom he came in contact.  He'll be remembered and missed.

I was privileged to practice law for and with Joel in the late seventies and early eighties.  Joel was one the finest lawyers and people anyone could ever know.  I send my sincerest condolences to his family and to Peter and his other colleagues at Dietze and Davis.

Joel was a man whose kindness was at the forefront.  A person with integrity, compassion and humility.  Truly a person to emulate.  We will miss him very much.   Bud & Penny Nelson (Craig, CO)

Joel is and will always be a cherished friend,,,it was a blessing to have worked with him as the receptionist at Dietze and Davis for many years,,no matter what the reason or how busy he was he would always find time for support or advice or to just listen,,,I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful, kind caring person in my life,,he was definitely one of the "good guys",,,may God bless your family at this difficult time and may your memories reflect all the lives he touched,,he truly made a difference for so many,,he will be missed,,,you are all in thoughts and prayers,,,with love
