Jeffrey Allen Ogburn

Jeffrey Allen Ogburn age 56 entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday February 19, 2022.

Jeff was a loving husband, father and friend. He was an exceptional State Farm Insurance Agent in Boulder, Colorado.

Jeff was born July 11, 1965 in Strom Lake, Iowa. He is survived by his wife Lezlie Leier, his three children Kelsea Steed, Tanner Ogburn and Austin Ogburn, his father Gary Ogburn and his two brothers Scott Ogburn and Todd Ogburn. He is preceded by his mother Maurene Ogburn.

Jeff had many gifts that he loved to share, and his love of life and positive attitude were contagious to all who were around him. He loved drawing and painting, was an exceptional speaker and had amazing listening skills followed by heartfelt advice.

Jeff and Lezlie loved to travel, they purchased a home in Cabo San Lucas in 2015 and enjoyed many sunsets with family, great friends and their fur babies over the past 7 years.

Jeff’s family continues to grow with Kelsea marrying Trent Steed in 2020 and Tanner and Kenzie expecting their first child in June and Austin and Emily bringing sweet Eloise into our lives 8 months ago. Jeff’s stepson Andrew Maldonado and wife Maggie have two little ones, Grey and Lachlan. He leaves behind many nephews and nieces that he adored as well as friends and extended family. Jeff loved being with them all and was an exceptional Papa and uncle.

Jeff loved life and the love of his life, Lezlie. He did not want to leave any of us, but knew the next adventure was waiting and that he would be re-united with is mother Maurene and stepson Alex among other family and friends for his next great adventure.
