I didn't realize it, but Gary and I were born on the same day, just three years apart.  I had the pleasure of helping Gary at the library.  He was one of my favorite patrons.  He would always have a challenging list of movies to search for.  He was always pleasant and appreciative and even brought the staff cookies and candy on occasion.  He will be missed.  

He carried a picture of his daughter in his wallet that I saw every time he took out his library card.  My thoughts are with her and all of Gary's family.

Gary, was a wonderful and very humble great man. He was very kind to the staff at the library and always had a pleasant demeanor. He used to bring treats to staff frequently and when he handed chocolate or candy he said "Thank you for all you do", very humbly. When he has his movie list ready he came to the front desk and asked me "Could you order these movies for me if you can? I don't want to hold your line here and I can go to the other desk. If you think you can do that's great Neel". I don't want to take your time from other people in line for me". Gary was a very grateful and modest person. I will miss seeing him in our library. I wish him a peaceful and glorious journey.
