   Eileen was a wonderful in her human resource position.  She was always as helpful and friendly to us all.  You could sense how wonderful she was just by talking to her on the phone.  She is in heaven now for sure as she was one of the good ones.

Eileen was the "studio mom" for so many of us dancers in Colorado and we were so lucky to have her. Growing up in such a critical and competitive environment was challenging but Eileen was our refuge and rock, a constant source of support and compassion. I'll never forget walking into the studio to her joyful and calming smile. She would remind us not to take things too seriously and was always there to help us crazy kids make good choices and take care of each other. Eileen was a positive force in so many children's lives and will be greatly missed. Lucas and Rae, you have both always been so much like her (11-year-old Lucas was the sweetest little b-boy!). Sending love to you and your families.

Eileen was such a wonderful person in many ways. I had the pleasure of working with her over the past 13 years. She was always very compassionate, empathetic, and caring with everyone she worked with. She always made time for people to hear or help them out no matter how busy she was. Here at Pharmaca we will all miss her greatly as she wore so many hats. I will miss our daily conversations and being sounding boards for each other. I was blessed to have been able to know her!

I met Eileen 14 years ago thru Pharmaca. We knew one another for years before actually meeting in person. I am so glad she was part of my life. She, of course, helped me with HR/Benefit issues when I was with Pharmaca. She was invaluable to me. She always made time for me, for everyone, listening and caring. Later, she became my friend. I miss her sage advice and infectious laughter. She loved her children and spoke to me of them often. The light of her life was her grandson. Oh she was so proud!I miss you Eileen and am sure you are with your beloved husband. Thank you for shining your bright light on me. My sincere condolences to her children and family.. 

I worked with Eileen at Pharmaca for almost 3 years.  She was always warm and helpful.  I always found myself grateful for her deep understanding of an HR process or the in's & out's of Pharmaca's healthcare options.  Better than her domain expertise was her approachability and humor.  She was alway simply fun to be around. She made me feel like I had an ally.  Really - she wasn't doing anything special for me. This was just how Eileen was - honest, caring, fun & funny.  She made everyone feel like they could be themselves.  I remember admiring the fact that she was learning hip hop dance at that time, and brought a young, hip instructor to teach classes (I think) at Pharmaca.  Either way, I was just in awe of her energy and zest for life.  The world will miss her spirit, her vivaciousness and her honesty.  Condolences to her family and close friends, who got to treasure the magic of Eileen on a deeper level and will thus feel the loss much more profoundly.  Much love Eileen. How can I sum up a 40 year friendship?  I worked with Eileen and Rex at Granville-Phillips and we became life-long friends.  We were very close during those years, attending each other's weddings and bless Eileen for the maid-of-honor dress she had to wear at mine.  We had many laughs and cries together.  Even with my constant moving all over the country, and no such thing as cell phones or email back then, we could always just pick up where we left off.   I didn't get to know Rae and Lucas due to us moving so often, but they were the light of Eileen's (and Rex's) lives and the grandbaby was the cherry on top in her life.  A true friend, colleague and a gem that was taken too soon.  May she soar with the angels.


I have so many wonderful rembrances of Eileen but two will always stick in my mind.  The first may have been the first time we were together at a Gravillle barbeque.  Some of the people were calling her Reenie or Leenie . . . Hamburgers and hot dogs were being served and I thought  . . . they were calling her Weenie!!  I hesitated then asked her why . . . Weenie?  She laughed and forever after I called her Weenie.
The second is when my wife, Lisa, consulted Eileen as HR Manager.  Lisa was asking her to disburse long term retirement funds because her husband could not be located.  Eileen asked why he could not be located and Lisa said, "well do you see him"?  He was forever unreachable.

Thank you Weenie for saving me and my wife from financial ruin.  We will love you forever.

A donation was made to the Humane Society in remembrance of Eileen on behalf of all the Fentons, scattered like wild geese. I recall Eileen as kind, optimistic, and of course very Irish. I lost touch with her when she moved to Colorado and I moved to Indiana. But I remember her fondly when Noel and John and I hung out at the Rice’s in Pearl River. Wonderful days.

Cousin Eileen passed far too soon and we are sure her loved ones are devastated. However, I have found a Jewish saying that helps with grief as profound as this: 

Let your memory of her be a blessing.

Eileen was a warm, funny, supportive and wonderful person that I feel fortunate to have worked with for so many years.  She was a rock that offered so much to so many in a caring and unselfish way.  As a true HR professional, she was a great partner to both me and our team - always wanting to make sure that everyone had what they needed.  Eileen was a joy to work with and will be missed by all those she touched.  

Eileen was just the best … always there for you and she gave her all . I can not imagine not speaking with her and utilizing her wise counsel . Eileen will be missed by me and many other individuals who through her kindness and care she affected for the better . No words can describe the loss of such a bright and vibrant soul. I worked with Eileen for 11 years and had the pleasure of being on the same team for 5 years (much of that time in the same office!). She guided me through so many big events in my life (marriage, caretaking of elderly family, loss of my mother, birth of my child). She always knew the right thing to do... be it words of wisdom, hugs, jokes, candy, margs, or silence (with the miraculously the right hip-hop song playing in the background)! I heard so many stories of her life, her kids, and her family... 2000 characters just isn't enough to share it all. Rae, Lucas, she was so proud of whom you both have become. I'll miss our lunch dates at Walnut Cafe and laughing over crazy stories. She's truly watching over all of us now!

There are no words to express the impact Eileen has had on my life and the impact her passing has had on so many. I've worked with Eileen for only a year and physically been in her presence only twice. I'll treasure those hugs forever. Her wisdom and perspective on people and business were invaluable. Getting to know her was a joy. She would light up when she talked about her grandson. She would crack up when she talked about her love of 90's rap. 

I  miss her so much and my heart breaks for her family.

I got to work  with this wonderful person for 9 years at Pharmaca.  When I found out she passed it was a definitely a shocker.    You left too soon.  That little grandchild of yours is going to miss out on all your loving stories that you have to share.  RIP my friend you will be missed.  

I had the pleasure of working with Eileen for over five years. She was knowledgeable, professional and always willing to provide assistance in solving any issue. She was a caring person with a great sense of humor. Eileen will be missed by all of us who had the opportunity to work with her at Pharmaca.

I was lucky enough to work very closely with Eileen for three years at Pharmaca on the HR team. To know Eileen was to love her. I always admired her warmth, humor, strength, and character. She welcomed me with open arms and was always there for me through good times and bad. She had a heart of gold and she loved her family more than anything in this world. She was a huge dog lover and all of the Pharmaca dogs loved her dearly, especially my dog Rorie. She would run straight to Eileen's office every single morning to get many treats and lots of love. Sometimes Rorie would just chill in her office for hours because she loved Eileen so much and felt so comfortable with her. Eileen was selfless and was always there for anyone who needed her. She was a warm hug personified. She taught me so much both professionally and personally, and I will always be grateful for the years I got to know her. She will be missed dearly. I hope she is resting peacefully with her beloved husband.

I worked with Eileen at Pharmaca for many years and every interaction I had with her was a pleasure. Eileen was always positive with a cheery outlook - even when the forecast wasn't cheery. 
I am sending all my love to Eileen's family and friends as she was a terrific person and will no doubt be leaving a huge hole in the everyday life of friends and family that knew and loved her.

My family and I are heartbroken by Eileen’s passing.  She held a special place in our heart.     She had a smile that I will never forget, the language  of a sailor that made me laugh, the heart a size of a continent that kept on giving, the love for her family that was true and sweet.   She built an amazing community that she absolutely loved and cherished and never was alone.   
I will miss you dearly Eileen!  Dance your heart out, drink those margaritas, touch the stars and say hi to our furries.  
To her besties, there will be no other “sister wife” like her and I am so sorry for your loss.
   

I’m so grateful to have known Eileen’s beautiful, welcoming, and generous soul. Not only did she have a smile for me each day when we worked together over several years, but she also extended that same depth of kindness to everyone she knew. May her memory be eternal. 

I wish I had some more photos of Eileen from the time I spent working with her at Pharmaca, but I did find this one.  This was Nov 2019 and I was walking up to the building when I saw Eileen waving me over.  The recycling truck was blocking both the ramp and the handicap spot and she was having none of it :)  She had me grab a couple photos to send to her and luckily one of them included her!  Thought a photo of her not putting up with BS would probably be appropriate here.

Hearing of Eileen's passing was such a shock. I have worked with her for the past 4 years at Pharmaca and she was one of the most approachable, kindest, helpful, and "real" people that I've had the luck to work with.  She will be missed.

I was heart broken and shocked when I heard the sad news of Eileen's passing. Eileen and I worked together for over 15 years at Pharmaca.  I considered Eileen a friend and I always appreciated that she was a strong supporter of our values and mission. I learned so much from Eileen. She was always there to help me navigate the world of HR. In the past four months Eileen was especially  supportive to me through a difficult transition. I will always cherish her kindness, warmth of heart and professionalism.  Eileen is one of a handful of people I have had the honor to work with who  will live on in my heart. 

Our hearts are broken and we're still in shock. I hired Eileen at Pharmaca and worked with her for many years.  She was the consummate professional, always caring and loving and the one I could lean on.   She was strong and kind and made a lasting impact on everyone.

My heart is broken after hearing of Eileen’s passing.   I am sending love and light to all her family and friends for healing and peace.  

I had the pleasure of working with Eileen for almost 6 years.  She was always there to share advice, a sympathetic ear, or just shoot the breeze.  She was the best doggie sitter in the office, Charlie loved to visit her for cookies on a regular basis.   She would laugh every time he tried to walk through her legs because he was so tall and it was usually more than a little awkward!!!

I am so incredibly saddened to hear of Elaine's passing.

Having worked with her for 13 years, Elaine was alway supportive and positive and a wealth of knowledge. Her smile and wit always helped to lighten the issues and hurdles that she helped guide me through.

She will be deeply missed as a coworker, a mentor and a friend.

I only worked with Eileen for a short time but she left a huge impact. Her kindness was infectious and I left every conversation with a smile. She will be dearly missed 

Eileen will be very very missed here at Pharmaca. She was one of the first people I spoke with when I first got hired in 2021. She helped me through many hurdles and made me feel seen and appreciated. Rest in paradise, Eileen. We love you.
