Doris Mines Goodrich, 79, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2021, in Boulder, Colorado; loving wife of Robert Kent Goodrich “Kent” for 55 years; exceptional mother; terrific aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Doris was born on January 14, 1942, in Murray, Utah. She was preceded in death by William Vernal Mines (father), Carolyn Mines (mother), and Norman Mines (brother). Survivors include: husband, Robert Kent Goodrich; daughter, Lisa Goodrich; son-in-law, Steven Bennetts; son, Glenn Kent Goodrich; daughter-in-law, Lucy Goodrich; and sister-in-law, Elaine Mines; as well as many other relatives.
Doris grew up in Sandy, Utah and attended the University of Utah, where she graduated with a degree in English. She married Robert Kent Goodrich on August 21, 1965, in Utah. She taught middle school English in Utah before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 1966, with her husband Kent, where she became a homemaker.
Some of her interests were visiting the Denver Art Museum, bird watching, and reading. She was a passionate supporter of family, friends, neighbors, and community. She loved spoiling her many cats over the years. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
