David went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2018 at the age of 87 in Boulder, Colorado surrounded by family.
David was born in Shawnee, Allen County, Ohio to Perry G. and Faith W. Hall. He graduated from Bath High School in Fairborn, Ohio.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Judith Monroe on 6-11-55. They made Dayton Ohio their first home.
He served in the Navy branch of the military during the Korean War where he became an electrician.
David followed his father-in-law to Hutchinson, Kansas from Ohio with Judy and his 2 children where he became a sheet metal worker by trade.
David attended the First Baptist Church in Hutchinson with his family and felt called to the ministry. He moved his family to Omaha, Nebraska in 1966 to attend Grace Bible Institute which was later changed to Grace College of the Bible and then Grace University.
While attending college, David helped to construct the “Mutual of Omaha” building and the Woodmen Tower in downtown Omaha.
David received his Bachelor of Arts and a Teaching Certificate from Grace College of the Bible while holding the position of Physical Plant Manager at the college.
David was Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Union, Nebraska for many years. He also assisted as Pastor for the Waubonsie Bible Church in Glenwood, Iowa.
He also enjoyed the outdoors, camping and was an artist and Silversmith.
David was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Jarvis A. Hall and his beloved wife Judith M. Monroe Hall.
He is survived by his son: Dana J. Hall and daughter-in-law: Theresa Hall of Erie, Colorado and a daughter: Denise R. (Hall) Ruybalid-Miller and son-in-law Dennis Miller of Florissant, Colorado. David is also survived by a Brother-in law, Jeffrey Monroe and his wife Marie of Kansas and their family.
He is also survived by five grandchildren: Rebecca Stone, David Ruybalid, Heather Milburn, Isaac Hall and Alexander Hall and 8 great-grandchildren.
