Darcy Eileen Cline, age 77, passed away on February 28, 2019 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Boulder, Colorado. She was born on June 30, 1941 in Boulder, Colorado to William Troy Beach and Josephine Van Cleave-Laughlin. Darcy was a long time resident of Boulder, Colorado. She went to school at Whittier Elementary, Casey Junior High, and graduated from Boulder High School. Darcy enjoyed and was known for her cooking, holiday baking, and sense of humor. Darcy loved jazzercise, sewing clothes, canning, gardening and helping others. Darcy worked as a para educator with the Boulder Valley School District for about 40 years and also was a cabin cleaner at Chautauqua Park for about 35 years.
Darcy is survived by her husband Garry Cline, her four children, Brenda (Stan) Gordon, Darcy (George) Ellis, Scott (Julie) Cline, and Betty Stull; her 10 grandchildren, Keith Gordon, Kent Gordon, Katey (Seth) Rogers, Taylor (Sophie) Gordon, Megan (Sam) Turner, Elizabeth Rodgers, Christina (Joseph) Fontana, Benjamin Stull, Christopher Wetzbarger, and Doug Cline. Darcy also had 8 great grandchildren. Darcy was preceded in death by William Troy Beach, father; Beryl Laughlin; stepfather; Josephine Van Cleave-Laughlin, mother; Lorita Helfrich, sister; Patricia Tegops, sister; Rosalyn Weisenberg, sister; and Wilberta Fagler, sister.
Funeral services will be held on March 12, 2019 at 11am at Crist Mortuary in Boulder, Colorado. Family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home from 9am to 11am. Memory contributions can be made at the Alzheimer’s Foundation http://www.alzfdn.org or the PKD Foundation https://pkdcure.org.
