My great uncle was a wonderful generous man who will be missed deeply. Love to all our family, you guys are in my heart and prayers. Wish I could be with you during this time.

I've always thought of your dad as the most intelligent man I know. As you know I always admired his roses. I'm sure, when we were kids, I used to drive him crazy asking questions about them. Now I have my own roses. Most of the time I think they are the most beautiful on the block, but they can't compare to his. Some of his roses decorated the reception at my wedding. I will always appreciate that kindness. Diane and Vivi, thank you for sharing him with all of us. Give each other a hug from me.



As one of Glenn's nephews I have many great memories. Although I'm nine years younger,  he always treated me as an equal.  I'll always cherish the times we spent together.

Upon my graduation from high school his gift to me was the use of his Dodge convertible on graduation night.  I never knew if he realized it, but that generosity made me aware of his faith and trust in me, and I never wanted to disappoint him.

When he met Kaye we all knew she would be the love of his life ... and she was.  I spent the summer of 1949 working with Glenn in his job near Washington, DC. and stayed with Glenn and Kaye that summer.  It will always be one of my fondest memories.

Glenn's intelligence, kindness and generosity was appreciated by all who knew him.  He greatly influenced me as an individual and my career path.  I will be forever grateful to him.

I have known Glenn since I was in grade school.  He was always such an incredible man, father and friend.  His kind soul will certainly be missed, but will forever live in my memories and heart!!  Rest in Peace!!

I met your father a few times while I was working in his BEAUTIFUL garden.  He always had a smile on his face.  I will think of him when I see roses.  His were very well kept.  You could tell he loved them.
Take care of yourself and each other.  Soon the smiles will come more often then the tears.   HUGS
