Karen Sue Campbell

Born on November 30th, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Randy and Emma Jane Ranstrom. Karen Sue Ranstrom Campbell comes from a family with many musical and artistic abilities. She has 2 siblings, a younger sister Rene, and a younger brother Mike. At a very young age, Karen began singing, and writing songs. She had many talents, but was especially known for her exceptional artistic abilities, with cake decorating, singing, writing and playing her own music (with the help of family, of course). She was involved with Youth Ministry, at the Worldwide Church of God for many years. She did theater in her younger years, participated in school plays, and later went on to orchestrate them for Children's Church. She married Hollis Randall Campbell on March 4th, 1989. He became a wonderful, supportive companion, partner, father, and grandfather. She had 3 children. Alisha, Denise and Donald. She has many grandchildren. But, EVERYONE was adopted in, with open arms by Granny. She is the most genuine, generous, compassionate, and loving human being to walk this earth. She was more than a blessing, in anyone's life she happened to come in contact with. She lived her life for others. She lived her life with unconditional love. About 15 years ago, she started the battle with her health. After suffering a heart attack from aortic aneurysm, changing her life forever. She had multiple surgeries, and overcame many health issues over the years. She still worked, right up until her most recent heart surgery. Her job, was her life. Bringing joy to others with her art, was her ultimate goal. She endured so much, for so long. Challenging the opinions of even the most world renowned doctors, and specialists. Her faith kept her whole, through all the trials she faced. It stayed strong and true, through everything. She will be forever missed and loved by everyone. She is survived by, her husband, Hollis. Her mother and father Randy, and Suzy. Her children, Alisha, Denise and Donald. Her Grandchildren, Mickyla Gillum, Johanna Gillum, Hezekiah Kitt, Mister Jamie Earl Loneia, James Daniel Holland III, Brianna Holland, Mya Holland, Destinee, Sarah, Emma, and Desiree.
