August 26, 1958 – July 12, 2019
Anna Marie Ackerman, long-time resident of Kirkland, WA, passed away at home on July 12, 2019 at the age of 60. The only child of Bernie and Dorothy Ackerman, she was born in Ballard, WA but grew up in Bothell, WA.
Anna graduated from Canyon Park Jr. High then Bothell High School where she played the flute in both the marching and concert bands. She attended Washington State University for a time and graduated from Shoreline Community College with a degree in Nursing.
A real people person, she enjoyed working as a nurse at Virginia Mason in Seattle. Deteriorating health led her into the less physically taxing medical billing field.
Her greatest joys were showing her exquisite Siamese and Balinese cats, traveling, attending the 5th Ave Theater, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Ave NE, Bothell, WA 98011.
