Yuk Wah Wong

Yuk Wah Wong, affectionately known as Wah, passed away on May 12, 2024, at Beth Israel Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born to Chow Tai Loy and Wong Ling Tao on September 01, 1941, in Hoiping, China.

She came to Boston in 1962 after marrying her husband, from Hong Kong. She worked as a seamstress building a life for her family.

After retirement, she traveled throughout Asia with her husband. She loved traveling and spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for playing mahjong.

Yuk Wah is survived by her loving husband, Foo Yuen Wong; 4 children; Gordon, Jean (Paul Wagner), Julie (Walt Marquardt), Wayne (Melinda Wong) and 3 granddaughters; Jessica, Kelly, and Caitlyn.

A funeral service for Yuk will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St, Boston, Massachusetts 02109.

Yuk will be laid to rest in Walnut Hills Cemetery, 96 Grove Street Brookline, MA 02467
