Wai Lin (“Judy”) (Wong) Ng, long time resident of Brookline, MA passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 15, 2023, her 87th Birthday. Loving wife of 67 years of Kwok Chu (“Danny”) Ng of Brookline, MA. Devoted mother of Lisa Yee and her husband Christopher Yee of Needham, MA, Richard Ng and his wife Maryellen Fitzgerald of Milton, MA, Carol Schuler and her husband Thomas Schuler of Carmel, IN, David Ng of Acton, MA, and Dana Ng and his wife Susan Nock of Wellesley, MA. Proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren, Andrew Ng and Katherine Ng both of Wellesley, MA, Elizabeth Schuler of San Francisco, CA, Andrew Schuler of New York, NY, Daniel Ng, Brian Ng, Stephen Ng, and Brendan Ng all of Milton, MA, Richard Ng, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Michelle Ng of Toronto, ON, and Annemarie Ng of Quincy, MA. Also survived by sisters-in-law Nancy Gee of Cleveland, MS, Ngun Hai Ng of Brookline, MA, and Shui Ping Fong of Brookline, MA, brother-in-law Kwok Hing Ng and his wife King C. Ng of Stoneham, MA, and niece Camille Penningroth of Nipomo, CA, nephews Guion Gee of Madison, MS, and Jeff Gee of Seattle, WA. Sister of the late Han Deb Gee of Cleveland, MS.

Wai Lin was born in Guangzhou Province of China. She moved to the United States in December, 1957. She, her husband, and family resided in Brookline, MA for more than 50 years. Wai Lin partnered with her husband in many successful business ventures including ownership of five Dragon Chef restaurants surrounding Boston. Together Wai Lin and Kwok Chu made extensive philanthropic contributions throughout the community. Known for her strong work ethic, dedication to her husband and family, appreciation for higher education, and pride in Chinese traditions, Wai Lin inspires all of us and will be greatly missed.

Friends and Family are invited to attend Wai visitation on on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 3 to 7pm at J.S Waterman Langone Chapel Located 580 Commercial St Boston,MA. COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:30 am. Burial will at Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made in Wai Lin's memory to either Brookline Senior Center, 93 Winchester Street, Brookline, MA 02446 or the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, 38 Ash Street, Boston, MA 02111.
