I worked with Romano, as we called him, at Massport's mail room in the late 70's.  I think of him often as he was a part of my work life and have fond memories of him. he taught me how to drive using the gas and brake at the same time, sometimes going over curbs.  we loved listing to WILD as we zoomed around the streets of Boston.  we delivered paychecks during the blizzard of '78.  we laughed all the time.  I am saddened he has passed.  I just looked his name up after all these years and I discovered he died.  the last time I saw Romano was in the late 80's or 90's at Logan where I worked for massport and he was on a construction crew.  every memory of Romano is positive.  Romano was one of a kind.  he had a lot of class. he was kind, generous and a pretty funny guy.  I can see him in his self described black on black Cadillac with cruise control and climate control.  here is to you Romano, one of the nicest guys I ever met.

It hurt me so much to hear the news of Steven’s passing. To me and my sister, he was an uncle. I remember being so excited to head down to Virginia’s house and play with the dogs. He would always let me use his personal computer back when no one even had a smartphone — much more innocent times! I was blessed to have such lighthearted memories with him, and I’m grateful I was able to spend some time with him in Florida recently with my father as well. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family. You are all in my thoughts.

We were blessed to be friends with Steve during his time in Orlando. He became a part of our family, and cherished any time spent with our young daughter. She loved to visit her Uncle Steve and Luka, and he kept her drawings on his refrigerator. We miss you very much, Steve. We hope you find peace and we'll see you again some day, dear friend. 

My deepest condolences to the Family & Friends.  Steven  was always respectful to me and Mom when she was alive. I want to remember him, for his great sense  of humor, his smile and his kindness! It was an honor to party with him and be his Friend!

We met Steve down in Orlando. We moved there from NH last year and Steve was one of our first friends. He made us feel like we were home. The last thing steve said to me was.." youre family" as he hugged me. I will never forget you Steve. This Pats season is for you big guy. 

I truly hope you find peace with The Lord... Godspeed
