Still thinking of you Shangshang. You were my closest friend at USF.

As your childhood friend and classmates, you left vivid memories in my life. I was so touched and influenced by your courage and enthusiasm towards life. I remember that you confessed to a boy you had a crush on for years and affectionately showed you emotions and love toward him in primary school. It was so brave in my eyes as I would scare to do that and always hide my true emotions. I remember in classroom, you told us what is white Valentine's Day. I remember you and I tried to protect another boy from bullies. We called ourselves “护草使者”。 I remember you always liked to play basketball 🏀 with guys and your basketball skill was superb! 

Do you live well in Heaven? I miss you Shangshang.

I'm one of your vlog followers on BiliBili who just known about the whole thing according to your videos. Then I googled your name to here. Fortunately, I can leave something for you. As an undergraduate student, I was deeply impressed by your optimism and attitude towards death. I will always remember you in my heart, a sister who has taught me how to cherish life.

I didn’t intend on writing any more word about her heartbreaking passing,  but here was her favorite quote that I’d like to share with all of us: Life can not be repeated, it’s okay to be greedy. 人生不能重來 貪婪有何過錯

Dear Shangshang,

You were my first friend I made at USF. I will always cherish the times we got dinner together, went to the asian market, hung out at the beach and explored Tampa. I remember always hearing you sing in your room from our apartment in Tampa. You had a beautiful voice.  

Your positivity and determination always inspired me and will continue to even though you’re no longer here. I know you touched so many peoples lives with the videos you posted online after you got sick. You were such a brave and beautiful soul. I’m glad you’re no longer hurting, and feel so lucky to have crossed paths with you in this life. I hope in another life we can do the trip to Miami together that we always talked about.

Thank you for setting up this for page for Shangshang. Although still could not believe this, I would like to send my sincere condolence to Shangshang's family. I read it from the news last night and watch all her videos on Bilibili, and posts on Weibo. Shangshang is such a bright and beautiful lady, and she will not be forgotten. Thank you Shangshang for sharing your brave stories with all of us, and you will always be missed.

Dear Shangshang, 

Thank you for being a huge light in my life. 

You are my close friend and someone I could always trust to be upfront and honest regardless of if it was something I didn't wanna hear. 

I'll never forget the times, experiences, & laughs we were able to share. 
From when we traveled to New Orleans together where you recommended an unforgettable jazz performance, to when we went to all your favorite spots at USF. 
The days when you would roast me with a smile & do that signature laugh or all the times we sang in the car together.
To the time we spent Thanksgiving together and all the late nights & movies that happened after that.

I wish we could have made more memories together but I am extremely grateful for the ones we were able to share. 

I love you & I hope someday we can meet again.

Thank you for sharing your life with me.  Although we have never seen each other, you have given me a lot of courage when I was in trouble.  Illness will not separate you from us. Your bravery and tenacity will always inspire everyone to strive for their own happiness and ideal life.

To Shangshang's family: I am so sorry for your loss. I heard about Shangshang through MET college at BU, and though I never had the chance to meet her, she exudes such a brightness and kindness. May your family have the support to make it through this. 

Although I do not know Shangshang personally, but as a Boston University alumni, I sincerely give my deepest condolences to her family and friends. It is heart wrenching to see that someone with such promising future to pass away at such a young age. Dear Shangshang, hope you can rest in a beautiful place without any sickness or pain.

I did not know her at all, but I attend BU. She looks like a lovely girl with a good heart. My thoughts are with you. 

So unfair to go so early...

I did not know Shangshang personally but may have passed by her on BU  campus, here and there. I have a son who is 2 months older than she and can only imagine the grief her parents have to endure.

I will keep her and her family in my thoughts...

Shangshang was an enthusiastic ,joyful person who loved sports , musics. She was often described as a ray of sunshine because of your kindness and positive attitude touched everyone in your life. Her kindness and love will be an inspiration to everyone who knew her. May you Rest In Peace, my sincere friends.
