Russell Bill Wong

Russell B. Wong, 85, of Malden, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2021. He was born in Boston, a son of the late Shew Leung Wong and Ho (Yee) Lee. He was part owner and operated Joy King Restaurant of Quincy, Mass. He was a United States Air Force Veteran faithfully serving his country from 1955 – 1959. He was a member of American Legion Post # 328 and the Chinese Masonic Lodge of Boston. He is survived by his wife May (Lee) Wong of Malden, his daughter Pamela Wong of New York, NY, his son Lawrence Wong of Malden, his two brothers Arthur Wong and his wife Ginny of Phoenix, AZ and Jeffrey Wong and his wife Susan of Newton, his sister Alice Hom of Marietta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be, August 23, 2021 from 8:00AM-9:30AM at the J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109. Burial will follow with military honors at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Jamaica Plain (Boston), MA 02130.
