Robert V. Gurry

Robert V. Gurry, 56, of Holbrook, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021. He was born in Boston, a son of Ann Gurry of Lynn and the late John J. Gurry, Jr. Bobby was a waiter at several Boston area restaurants. In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his cherished daughter Jacklyn Gurry of Milton, his sisters Janet Gurry of Boston, Judith Gurry-McAlpine and her husband Robert of Holbrook and Kristine Soriano and her husband Steven of Lynnfield, Jacklyn Deyesso and her husband James of Weymouth, his brother Keith Gurry of Boston, two aunts, Marie Gurry of Swampscott and Pauline O’Donnell of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, treasured nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jessica and Justina and Stephen, Jake and Brandon and two cousins, Brian and Laurie. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother John J. Gurry. Funeral services are Thursday January 21, 2020 at St. Gregory Church, followed by burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, both in Dorchester. A visiting hour will precede the service at the church. J.S.
