Peter Gizzi of Melrose, formerly of Boston’s North End passed away on January 26, 2022. Loving son of the late Gabe and Jemma. Beloved husband of Marie (Procopio) Gizzi. Cherished father of Peter Gizzi and his wife Cara, Michael Gizzi and his wife Lisa and Maria Martin and her husband Sean all of Melrose. Adored grandfather of Michael Gizzi, Alana Gizzi, Michael Martin, Joseph Martin, Gemma Gizzi, Junior Martin and Gabriella Gizzi. Dear brother of the late Barbara Gizzi. Also survived by his loving extended family and dear friends. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm in the J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston. Complimentary valet parking available at front entrance. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston. To join procession to church, be at funeral home by 9am.
