Pasquale "Pat" A. Merola

Pasquale A. “Pat” Merola, 92 of Boston’s North End, passed away on March 8, 2025. He was born in Boston, son of the late Angelo and Rosina (Gentile) Merola. Pat was the beloved husband for 65 years to the late Dolores Ann (Cataldo) Merola. Adored father of Doreen Merola of the North End, Steven Merola and his wife Jo-Ann of North Andover and Paul Merola and his wife Wen of Irvine, CA. Cherished grandfather of Steven Merola and his wife Cara of Bradford, Anthony Merola and his husband Brian Monahan of Westwood and Stephanie Jaskot and her husband Cody of Lawrence; great-grandfather of Matthew, Michael and Marco Merola. Dear brother of the late Carmela Swafford and Alexander Merola. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Leonard Church. At Pat’s request, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston, MA 02113. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
