Ngit Joe Chin

CHIN, Ngit Joe of Boston, passed away at home on Monday October 20, 2014 at age 95. Joe was born in Toishan, China and came to America in 1938. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific. He was the proprietor of Wing Wing Groceries in Boston's Chinatown from 1965 to 1981. Joe was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Lai Chung (Tom) Chin. He was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and uncle. He is survived by his daughter Susan, son Edmond and his wife Susan, and son Dodson and his wife Shirley. Also survived by his grandchildren Jonathan, Jeremy and his wife Linda, Darrell, Brandon, Russell, Brian and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Boston Harborside Home of JS Waterman & Sons-Waring-Langone, 580 Commercial Street, Boston. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston. Parking attendants are on duty on both days.
