Joseph Salvatore Bruno

We are sad to announce the passing of Joseph Salvatore Bruno, formerly of the North End. He died at the age of 95 on April 4, 2023. Joseph passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loved ones. If you were ever looking for Joe, you could be sure to find him in the kitchen cooking for his family, in the den with the love of his life, at a blackjack table, or most often at the Madonna Della Cava, where he was a lifelong member.

Joe was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Rosemary Bruno, his siblings Santa, Sarah, Biaggio and Phil. Michelle and Jason Doyle of Billerica along with their three children, Skyla, Joseph and Ivy, Krystle and Kevin Brown of New Hampshire along with their daughter Samantha, Erika Cassino of Burlington survive him along with her son Liam Doyle. Also survived by Nieces and nephews Billy Moschella of Estonia, Chuckie, Mark and Marie Bruno

Visitation will be on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 9am to 10am in St. Stephen Church, 401 Hanover St., Boston with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
