Joanna Belmonte of Boston’s North End passed away on April 3, 2018. Beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie (Piazza) Belmonte. Loving mother of Joseph Bonavita and his wife Joy of Georgetown, Michael Bonavita of the North End, and Matthew Bonavita and his wife Kristen of Newburyport. Cherished grandmother of Ava, Joseph, Kayleigh and Teagan. Sister of Kathleen Belmonte of Salem. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm in the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq.,Boston. To join procession to church, be at funeral home by 9am. Services will conclude with interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
