Florence H. Carlino, age 95, of Lynn, formerly of Newton. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo J. Carlino. Devoted mother of the late Christine Melkissetian and her husband Vahe of Watertown, Robert of Northborough, Jacquelyn and her wife Lori Tritto of Lynn. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Flo was the loving sister of Angelina Petto of Vermont, Marion Spataro of Lowell, and the late Patrick, Joseph, and Alfred Morelli.
Florence married at 19 and started her family. After raising her family, she pursued a career in Cosmetology along with her daughter Christine. Two of Flo’s favorite things were her bowling league with her Newton friends and her 14 years working down the North End pool. Her greatest assets were her ability to listen and give sound advice to anyone who needed it.
Friends and family are invited to attend Flo's visitation on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover Street, Boston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am. Services will conclude with a burial at St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Florence's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
