My favorite picture of David.  My most special memory of David is when he was 16 years old.  A robin had started to build her nest in the front porch light. David would lay bits of string and other stuff so she wouldn't have far to fly . And once the eggs had hatched, he would pull up a stepladder to peek inside to make sure the babies were okay. Even then, I was aware how special, how caring, how interested in life David was.

 My sincere condolences to all of Dave's family and friends. I was only close with Dave during college, but in that short span he taught so many valuable lessons about life. He was wise beyond his years, and I will always cherish the time we spent hanging out together. RF.
