Chi Man Tang, 82 of Malden passed away on April 5, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Born in Canton, China in 1938, the son of the late Dong Long Tang and Kam Fong Wu.
Mr. Tang was a tailor in Hong Kong for 15 years before immigrating to United States in 1971 at the age of 33. For nearly 30 years, Chi Man was partner and chef of Kai Lau Restaurant of North Attleboro from which he retired in 2002.
Mr. Tang enjoyed going to casinos and watching sport, especially basketball. His dedication to his family was paramount and his work ethic was unmatched.
Chi Man is survived by his spouse, Irene Tang; his children Catherine Tang (eldest daughter), Kerry Tang (middle daughter) and Yvonne Tang (youngest daughter) as well as his brother Tse Kow Tang. He is predeceased by his brother Chi Jun Tang.
Due to the current pandemic, the family has chosen to keep all safe and have a private funeral.
