Aria Claire Chretien, 10 months, passed away on April 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving parents and caregivers at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). Aria spent most of her life at BCH because she was born with Pulmonary Vein Stenosis; a rare form of heart disease. Aria's sickness did not define her because even through her roughest days she always found a reason to smile. Her heartwarming smiles brought doctors and nurses into her room routinely just so they could be in her presence and experience the joy of her personality. She taught those around her the importance of living your life to the fullest and never taking life for granted. Aria was a beautiful soul who will forever live in the minds of those who spent the many months at BCH with her as well as all of her family and friends who followed her beautiful journey online. She is the loving daughter of John and Madeline “Maddie” (Murdock) Chretien. Beloved sister of Noah and Emelie Chretien. Dear granddaughter of Daniel and Mary (Stallworth) Murdock, Kathy (Shaw) Spillers, Luis De La Cruz, Therese (Bergeron) Napier and Gary Chretien. The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm in the J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston. A Service of Remembrance will be held the next day, Saturday, April 24 in the funeral home at 11am.
