Anthony Saia of Wakefield, formerly of Belmont and Watertown, passed away peacefully November 21, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Anthony is survived by his loving partner Pamela Green of Wakefield, MA. He was the cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (DeAngelo) Saia. He leaves behind his older brother Joseph Saia Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Waltham, and big sister Lorraine Saia of Watertown. Anthony was survived by his beloved feline companion, Frankie, who brought him much joy.
Never a homebody, he found great happiness outdoors, especially on the busy streets of Boston. He was an avid football, basketball, and baseball fan, always cheering passionately for his favorite teams. His enthusiasm, great sense of humor, and zest for life were infectious, making him a beloved presence among friends and family.
Anthony had a big heart and a true giving spirit. Always an authentic people person, Anthony took great pleasure in helping others and was known for his generosity and compassion. A deeply religious man, he lived his life grounded in strong Christian faith, which guided his actions and interactions with those around him.
He is survived by many loving friends who will remember him fondly for his kindness and warmth. Anthony’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished forever.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 9am to 11am in the J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston with a Funeral Service at 11am. PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
