Florence Johnmeyer

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at William Wood Funeral Home, 517 Fourth Street, Boonville, Missouri. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Florence was born in the State of Missouri on Wednesday, January 7, 1920 to Jacob & Clara Kiel Schilb. She was united in marriage to Casper William Johnmeyer on Friday, March 31, 1944. Florence worked at the Boonville Shoe Factory for a number of years and was a long time member of the Boonville United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Johnmeyer was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, David Johnmeyer and infant Johnny Joe Johnmeyer.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Donald & Kathy Johnmeyer, of El Paso, Texas, 3 grandchildren, Paul Johnmeyer, Karissa Gibson, Tyler Sullivan and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Brittany, Katie, Elizabeth, Hudson and Emory.

Memorial contributions may be given to the United Church of Christ or the Lakeview Health Care and Rehab.
