William Monroe “WM” Jackson, 75, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born September 7, 1940, to L.Q. and Velma Beatrice Fuller Jackson. He worked for Intex Plastic in Corinth for 19 years and was a truck driver before retiring. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed hunting and playing dominoes with his buddies.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Jumpertown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Gann Jackson; three daughters, Daphne (Michael) Robbins, Tammy (Kerry) Roberson, both of Dry Creek and Wendy (Dexter) Johnson of Corinth; two sons, Monty (Angie) Jackson of Booneville and James Jackson of Jumpertown; four sisters, Dimple (Michael) Stevens, Glenda (Jerry) Thrasher, Betty Shook and Lisa (Perry) Lauderdale; one brother, Bobby Dean (Karen) Jackson; seven grandchildren, Craig Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Austin Jackson, Amber Moore, Clayton Jackson, Kiesha Moore and Dakota Robbins Box; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Joe Jackson; his parents; two grandchildren, Tamera Rachel Stevens and Samantha Lynn Jackson; and one brother-in-law, James Shook.
Pallbearers are Craig Jackson, Clay Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Kerry Roberson, Collin Box, Bryan Tatum and Michael Robbins.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
