Ripple graduated from Thrasher High School in 1952. She attended Northeast Community College where she played basketball. Ripple was united in marriage to James (Dick) Bullard on July 4, 1953. She worked at Brown Shoe Factory, Thrasher School cafeteria, TPI, and Wal-Mart.
Ripple enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, cooking for her grandkids, sewing, watching basketball, and watching her grands and great-grands at any of their sporting events. She was a member of Gaston Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include two daughters: Dennie (Paul) Goldman and Lisa (Eddie) Allen, one son: Steve (Tammy) Bullard; ten grand-children: Dana (Corey) Howell, DeAnna (Brandon) Cofer, Misty Allen, Christi (Daniel) King, Amanda (Drew) Mitchell, Maria (Brandon) Foster, Jennifer Pharr, Cory Bullard, Madison Bullard, Alaina Allen; eleven great-grand-children: Elijah Staggs, Savanna and Jaida Trimble, Shaylea and Kyra King, Owen Mitchell, Myla and Bronson Foster, Cooper, Houston and Elle Pharr; two brothers: Pete (Brenda) Scott, Gerald (Linda) Scott, and two sisters: Donna (Jimmy) Deaton, Jeannie (Harold) Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years, Dick Bullard, and her son, Mike Bullard.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 8th at McMillan Funeral Home from 5 pm – 9 pm with services on Friday, February 9th at 2pm at McMillan’s Chapel with burial in Oakland Memorial Park Cemetery in Booneville, Mississippi .
