Martha Faye Hughes

Martha Faye Hughes, 73, formally of Booneville, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born March 7, 1941 to Ramon and Lillian Nichols. She was a retired Teachers Assistant with the Prentiss County School District and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Baldwyn.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 19, 2014 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete McCoy and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Jon Ben) Griffin of Baldwyn; two grandchildren, Sydney Eleace Griffin and Gentry Harrison Griffin; and one brother, Bobby Nichols of Aurora, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Hughes; her parents; two sisters, Neta Garrett and Joyce McCuin; one brother, Tremon Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Nichols, Richie Garrett, Dan McCuin, Mark McCuin, Bart McCuin, Gene Knight and Austin Knight. Honorary pallbearer will be Perry Nichols.

Visitation will be from 4-8 Saturday, October 18, 2014 and will continue until service time at the funeral home on Sunday.
