Lorene Holloway Taylor

Lorene Taylor, 83, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born April 8, 1927, the daughter of R.P. and Cornelia Garner Holloway. She was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, and gardening.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 20, 2010, at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Carolina Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Taylor of Booneville and Tammie (Bobby) Bullard of Booneville; one son, Ken Taylor of Booneville; three sisters, Lynda Kay Andrews of DeValls, Ark., Joyce Pierce of Wynne, Ark. and Lois Wilson of Hardy, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Katie Taylor (Will) Conn, Tyson Taylor, Holly Bullard, Dylan Ferguson, Bryce Bullard, Tuesday Taylor, Stormie Taylor, Dustin Ferguson, Dalton Ferguson ; one grandson-in-law, Rick (Penny) Hare; three great-grandchildren, Haley Hare (Jeremy) Jones, Sawyer Richey, and Mattie Magers Conn.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mathel Taylor in 2003; her parents; two daughters, Shelia Taylor and Tracie Ferguson; two brothers, Neal Holloway and Etah Holloway; and one granddaughter, Tina Taylor Hare.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Golden Girls.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday and until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
