Lavelle Riddle

Sybil Lavelle Riddle, 89, passed away at Monday, December 26, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. She was born January 21, 1927, to Edgar Linwood and Grace Modena Langford Moore. She was a homemaker and store clerk. She was a member of Tuscumbia Baptist church. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, cooking and working crossword puzzles. She loved her family and friends dearly, enjoyed having a good laugh with her ladies Sunday school class, and the apple of her eye was her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 :00 A.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Parman and Bro. Jason Pilcher officiating. Burial will be in New Site Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Adrian Boyd Riddle; one son, Stan Boyd (Sue) Riddle; one sister, Ravenelle (Ray) Johnson; two grandchildren, Tanya Riddle (Joby) Morgan and Jonathan Boyd (Kami) Riddle; and four great-grandchildren, Todd Morgan, Jase Riddle, Halle Riddle and Mollie Riddle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers are Dr. Charles Crestman, Kim Crestman, Weylon Michael, Dale Michael, Greg Michael, Stuart Johnson, Mark Johnson and Bill Riddle.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
