Joyce Hinton

Joyce Elaine Hinton, 84, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born May 6, 1931, to Sam and Alice Heim Islam. She and her husband, Bob, owned and operated a restaurant. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home with Mr. Marshall Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Floyd; one son, Michael (Brenda) Hinton; one brother, Wilbur Islam; two grandchildren, Lin Floyd and Matthew (Anna Claire) Floyd; two step-grandchildren, Laura Dudley and David Dudley; and one great-grandson, Wyles Floyd.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lindell “Bob” Hinton; her parents; and two brothers, Donald Islam and Thomas Islam.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
