Eula Mae Brown, 99, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2016 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. She was born July 27, 1917, to Joseph Monroe and Minnie Pearl Pharr Moss. She was a member of New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church for 69 years, Eastern Star and Home Demonstration Ladies. She was a good cook and a great mother.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2016, at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Whitley officiating and Turner Sanderson delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home, Booneville, MS
She is survived by three sons, Dwight (Mary Ruth) Brown, Tony (Louise) Brown and Dennis (Regenia) Brown; one sister, Helen Barnes; one brother, Billy Joe (Martha) Moss; 10 grandchildren, Melinda (Michael) Sanderson, Melody (Eddie) McCraney, Amanda (Paul) Comer, Tina (Wesley) Gray, Stephanie Coleman, Brenda (Phillip) Horn, Jim (Sarah) Brown III, Carson (Charity) Brown, Jason (Sarah) Brown and Nancy Brown; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Leamon Brown, Sr. n 2003; two sons, Robert Lee Brown and James L Brown, Jr.; one daughter-in- Shirley Brown; and two grandsons, Steven and David Brown.
Pallbearers are her grandsons.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
