Esta Lee Murphy Gann

Ruby Esta Lee Gann, 65, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born May 20, 1945, in Prentiss County to the late George Sidney and Dollie Esta Lee Walker Gann. She was a factory worker and a housewife. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for over 30 years and as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She loved taking care of her grandsons.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Jones and Bro. Jack Whitley officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joe Ellis Gann of Booneville; two daughters, Missy (Keith) Lambert of Burton and Laura (Bill) Warren of Marietta; one sister, Elledith (Wyndel) Harris of Marietta; one sister-in-law, Lavita Harris of Jacinto; four grandsons, Josh and Rusty Lambert, Dylan and Justin Warren; host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Zannie Cook and Beatrice Mann; six brothers, Troy, Ovid, Pete and Cliff Murphy, Leamon Atkins and Bobby Atkins, Jr.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, and Lanny Peters, Jimmy Downs and Mike Garvin.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
