Bric Thomas Turner, 26, passed away after an extended illness at his home surrounded by a host of friends on Monday, December 3, 2012. He was born September 17, 1986 to Mr. Tommy and Dr. Anita Turner. He was a 2005 graduate of Booneville High School and attended Northeast MS Community College and the University of Mississippi. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He also loved to spend time with friends and family, and listen to music. His greatest dream was to someday have his own family which was fulfilled through his generous love and sacrificial giving to many.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday November 5, 2012 at Gaston Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Prather, Rev. Trey Lambert, Rev. Kenneth Harrison and Rev. Matt Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
Survivors are his parents; two sisters, Mariah Lucille and Angel Renee Tuner; other family, Loretta Polanco and Destiny Crunk. Grandparents, Tom Turner of Booneville and Bobbie Jean Williams of Milton, FL.
Preceded in death by, his grandparents, Rev. Clifford and Ruby Smart; and his great grandparents Albert and Clara Turner.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Davis, Jay Davis, Jake DeVaughn, J.D. Hawkins, Blake Jones, Warren Jumper, Chad Moore, Briley Morgan, Hunter Nanney, Rickey Nanney and Jeff Prentiss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Collin Turner, Timothy Turner, Justin Perrigo, Coy Perrigo, Brett Prather, Charlie Smart, Lonnie Smart, Bart Prather, and the BHS Class of 2005.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 9:00 Tuesday, December 4, 2012 and until service time on Wednesday at Gaston Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Leukemia Research, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
