Bobby Joe Shockley Sr.

Bobby Joe Shockley, Sr., 77, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born November 14, 1937, to Fletcher and Bessie Bridges Shockley. He enjoyed gardening, working outside, raising chickens, and serving the Lord.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. David Krech and Bro. Paul Ray Hall officiating. Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ann Shockley; four daughters, Lori (Joe) Jefferies, Tish Shockley, Rhonda Shockley and Pricilla Dawn Baswell; two sons, Joe Shockley and Jonathan Shockley; three sisters, Bess (James) Hunkapiller, Emmogene (Carl) Floyd and Willa Dean Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Mara Shockley; his parents; two sisters; and four brothers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
