Barbara Shockley

Barbara Shockley, 79, passed away Monday April 1, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born October 26, 1939, to Jesse Lee and Sylvia Helen Williams Greene. She was a graduate of New Site High School. She worked for Brown Shoe and North Mississippi Community Services. She was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ. She enjoyed babysitting, cooking, eating out and spending time with her family.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Ronnie Livingston officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Randy) Crabb, Vicki Shockley and Lori (Wayman) Welch; three grandchildren, Kelsey (James) Hall, Jeffrey Crabb and Jake (Heather) Crabb; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Shockley in 2011; her parents; and one brother, Bob Greene.

Pallbearers are Jeffrey Crabb, Jake Crabb, Marc Crabb, Riley Ivy, Dustin Hall and Chase Hall.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
