He was born in Kirkwood, Missouri on May 19, 1935, and called St. Louis home until his retirement in 1995.
Dale leaves behind his loving wife and companion of 55 years, Lorraine Perkinson (Dieckmeyer); his children, David (Diane) Perkinson, Steven (Virgie) Perkinson, Pamela (Mark) Kenney and grandchildren Joy, Cole, Daniel, James, Nikki, Tim and Isabel and great-grandson Lucas; his sister, Nancy Berthold (James) and many nieces and nephews.
Dale shared a love for his extended family as well, sister-in-law Nancy Luther (Gregory); brother-in-law Orrin Dieckmeyer (Edward Mehler); brother-in-law John Dieckmeyer (Cynthia); nephew Anthony Patti (Leslie); niece Claire Brendel (Clay); niece Adelaide Dieckmeyer and great niece Lorraine Patti.
Dale and Lorraine were life partners committed to the happiness and success of one another. They lived a life filled with friends, adventure, and joy. Together they worked creating a legacy of real estate developments in St. Louis and the Lake of the Ozarks. Dale was known for his creative genius in the real estate arena and his high standard of ethics in the business community.
A private burial will take place with a Celebration of Life to be announced.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Memory of Dale Perkinson.
