Diane was born on November 27, 1962 in the Bronx, New York to the late Donald Dennis Sullivan and Patricia Fohs.
Diane lived her life fully and on her own terms. She was a proud New Yorker. She loved the beach and loved to cook. Diane was known to prepare many delicious recipes, but she was famous for her potatoes. So much so, that other family members wouldn't dare attempt to make them at holidays.
She lit up every room she entered. She made friends everywhere she went. Diane had an incredible sense of humor, and was always there when you needed a laugh, advice, or a home cooked meal. She had an uncommon ability to make others feel at ease, and a large capacity for caring about others.
She was loved by her many friends, her family, and her regular customers that she served while working as a server at restaurants in Naples. She was loved dearly by her children to whom she was the most amazing mother.
She is survived by her children, Samantha, Robert, and Steven, as well as her sister-in-law, Jonette and brother-in-law, Peter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Heckey.
