Bernard "Bernie" Stanley Reedman Jr., age 80, of Estero, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023. Bernie was born in Bristol, PA on September 23, 1942 to Bernard Stanley Reedman, Sr. and Beatrice (Johnson) Reedman.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Fran of Estero, FL, his daughter, Beth Reedman of Hamilton, NJ, and his son Mark (Renee) Reedman of Yardley, PA. He is also survived by three sisters, Sarah (The late Thomas) Piccinetti, Bea Bea (The late Joseph) Barber, and Sandi Reedman, two nephews Michael and David, niece Natalie, and three great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his step-father, John Mennel who raised him since he was two years old, and his son Bernard Stanley Reedman, III.
Bernie will be missed by Milo, his devoted Maine Coon.
He was raised in Trenton, NJ, moved to Yardley, PA until he retired in Florida in 2004.
For his entire career, Bernie worked in the family business, Reedman World Center, an automotive sales company in Langhorne, PA retiring after 55 straight years of employment. He started as a mechanic and worked his way up to a salesman, then general manager.
He was a faithful born again Christian.
Bernie enjoyed fishing, boating, and travelling. He was known for his sharp wit, his great sense of humor, and his contagious laugh. He also appreciated good music, movies, and fine dining.
One of Bernie's favorite pastimes was watching the beautiful Florida sunsets with his wife, Fran. A perfect day for him was any day he spent outdoors and surrounded by nature.
Bernie is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many other friends and relatives.
A private Celebration of Life service will take place in Fairless Hills, PA at a later date.
